The most infamous challenge was the Shrine of the Silver Monkey room, where the kid inside the temple had to retrieve 3 pieces of a silver monkey statue scattered around the room, and correctly assemble the statue to open the doors to the next room. In Legends of the Hidden Temple, 6 duos of 1 boy and 1 girl competed for grand prizes, and the team that outlasted all challenges had to go through the Temple Run, a massive labyrinth with many challenges that they had to go through. This is yet another reference to Legends of the Hidden Temple, as one of the teams competing was called the Purple Parrots. This item's flavor text references two purple parrots.
The Silver Statue Base is located inside the Venomous Seal, at 46 82. The Silver Monkey Torso is located inside the "Cleverly" Disguised Chest, at 35 85. Olmec was the giant talking statue found at the base of the temple, and would guide the teams through the challenges in each episode. The Silver Monkey Head is located inside Wunja's Trove, at 35 55 inside a cave.
